March Mania at 360 Sports

March Mania is a 3-week long event that occurs at 360 Sports in Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage during March Madness. The client felt that previous years’ March Mania events were too calm and tame in nature, so I was tasked with creating an overall look that had more elements of motion, intensity, and flare. Print and video deliverables were posted in and around the sports bar and the casino floor.

I created the principal March Mania graphic in Adobe After Effects with the Element 3D and Saber plugins by Video Copilot. By applying motion from the get-go and adding photorealistic stone and metal textures to the 3D type, the result was a high-energy, fiery graphic that met the clients’ needs for the promotion.
